Feeling bad? Go write something or create something with NO AGENDA. It will change your frame of mind, distract you, or make you feel a little better. Maybe all three at once if you get lucky.

It's supposed to be difficult. It's supposed to be painful. That's when you know it's worth doing- when it makes you feel the most alive. Otherwise, it wouldn't be worth doing in the end. KEEP WRITING.

They're going to criticize you no matter what you do, so you might as well write whatever you want to write anyway.

The writing process is all the therapy you will ever need.

A successful writer is just a novice writer who didn't quit.

Writing is an act that can turn wrath into compassion.

Reading and writing are important because they allow people to learn what they need to learn at their own pace, without fear of instant reprisal or harsh judgement.

When times are tough, remember that there are readers out there who are desperate to read the words you are writing right now.

Six months from now, one year from now, five years from now, you are going to be glad you didn't quit writing.

When you are overthining, write. When you are underthinking, read.

The death knell to all creativity is self-doubt. Keep writing.

In the end, we all become stories. Live the story you want told.

Writers, don't be afraid to be authentically weird, because that's what will attract your most authentic and loyal readers.

Inspiration only comes to those who go looking for it, or to those who take the time to notice the inspiration that's already surrounding them.

Write as many drafts as it takes, no matter how long it takes.

Write honestly and fearlessly. Writers are the conscience of society.
