A Natural Paradise
Today’s post is based on a writing prompt I shared in a previous Daily Drafts & Dialogues post: Utopia. Keep reading to see what I wrote, and to access more writing prompts.
What I wrote below is loosely based on the following writing prompt: Write a poem or journal entry about your version of Utopia.
A Natural Paradise
A natural paradise on nurtured earth rising and setting with the shining sun growing replenished life offering lush canopies shielding harsh elements bearing fresh fruit bordering gushing rivers yielding shareable sustenance without destructive activity without artificial interferences without severing connectivity without deviant disturbances without excessive productivity without false deities without hubris pollution plastic panic pain man Undo Re-do Re-till Until men plant pure peace perennially with humility with honest spirituality with modest intentions with organic equality with solid connections with authentic reciprocity with restorative subsistence yielding shareable sustenance bordering gushing rivers bearing fresh fruit shielding harsh elements offering lush canopies growing replenished life with the shining sun rising and setting on nurtured earth a natural Paradise
I might revise, edit, or add to this draft in the future. Stay tuned.
Leave a comment if you completed this prompt too, or to start a dialogue. And don’t forget to check out today’s writing prompt below if you’re interested in completing a creative writing exercise like this one.

Today’s Writing Prompt
Writing Prompt: Desk Salad
Write a scene in which someone is eating a salad at their desk, but be sure to make it dramatic, funny, or intriguing. Or write about the last time you had a working lunch and why.
Writing Tip
Before you begin writing, close your eyes and imagine you’re the one eating a salad at a work desk, especially if you work in an office. What are you hearing, smelling, seeing, etc. And most importantly, what are you feeling and why? Are there any office politics or annoyances at play?
