For a while now, it seems as if people are confusing ‘engaging in contentious two-party politics’ with ‘being political.’ As a result many people are starting to claim, ‘I’m just not that political,’ when they refuse to engage in contentious two-party politics.

But engaging in contentious two-party politics and being political are not the same thing.
