An Eclipse: A Poem
[Shared from the Archive.] Today’s post is based on a writing prompt I shared in a previous Daily Drafts & Dialogues post. Keep reading to see what I wrote, and to access more writing prompts.
What I wrote below is based on the following writing prompt: Write a poem that is about a literal or figurative eclipse.
An Eclipse
Lunar lines exposed bold and white lie across the blazing star shielding its rays of light flaming orange-red with subtle electrical foresight yielding repeating glowing Day to Night near distant away toward the innermost Sun Moon Earth metaphorical literal linear heavenly bodies within and without gravity full and empty dimly bright apparition of beaming life.
I might revise, edit, or add to this draft in the future. Stay tuned.
