Black Nativity

Last night my husband and I went to see an adaptation of Langston Hughes’ Black Nativity play. Here are some things I’ve been thinking about ever since. [Don’t forget to see today’s writing prompt.]

Before yesterday, I had never seen Langston Hughes’ Black Nativity play. But now, after seeing it for the first time, I think I might have a new tradition of going to see it every year, as long as one of our local theaters continues to show it.
