WRITING PROMPTS to help you explore today’s topic:

  1. Write a paragraph or two detailing how you usually manage your time. Then write a paragraph or two detailing what you know you should do to manage your time better, but still struggle doing. Be as honest as possible. Remember: No one needs to read what you wrote down if you don’t want them to read it.

  2. Write a dialogue between a boss and their employee about time management, or lack thereof. Then write a paragraph or two about which perspective is more realistic and or empathetic and why.

  3. Write a fictional scene in which a character is struggling with managing their time. Consider: How do they work to overcome their time management struggles.

  4. Write a letter to your former self about ways they can better manage their time. Be sure to write to the person you were prior to the pandemic (2019 or before).
