Dear readers,
In honor of Labor Day and all the love, care, and effort we creators, writers, and readers exert in order to make this world a little more bearable and beautiful, Daily Drafts & Dialogues will be experiencing a brief interlude in posts.
During this brief interlude, you are encouraged to comb through recent posts and posts from the archive and write about The Stories We Carry, this month’s theme.
You are also encouraged to write a note of gratitude to yourself and all the other writers and creators like us who labor, often in silence and unnoticed, to use their words to engage and connect us all. This is no small feat in the world we're living in today. And truly, I am so thankful for you all and all the work you do.
Posts will resume as usual on Thursday, September 10th. And this week’s reading check-in post for our book club pick, Educated by Tara Westover, will be incorporated into Friday's Books post. This week’s writing prompts are up, as well, so please check those out.
Again, thank you for being here. Your work and continued support are appreciated! And we all hope to see you in the comments or chats soon.
See you again on Thursday!
P.S. This month’s writing collection is up, for those interested in taking a deeper dive into this month’s theme, and their writing practice.
