What if there were no more wars, real or imagined or contrived out of thin air by insecure bullies and sociopaths itching for a fight that doesn’t really need to exist?
What if no one had to pay money to eat, to be under a roof at night, to stay healthy, to be productive, to live? ‘I pay, therefore I am,’ is the new axiom of human existence in the twenty-first century, but what if it wasn’t?
What if everything everyone told you was the truth and kind and necessary?
What if our common humanity and human life was more important than this inane drive to acquire and hoard invisible wealth that only ends up funding those real, imagined, or contrived wars that those who pay to live end up sacrificing their lives for in more ways than one in the long run?
What if all the children in the world were nurtured and educated and loved?
What if all the elderly people in the world were cared for and honored and comfortable and continuously laughing?
What if a truly healthy lifestyle was more popular and supported by the masses than quick-fix medications and fad diets and dangerous surgeries and peddled, fabricated insecurities?
What if manufactured food wasn’t poisonous?
What if microplastics weren’t clogging our bodies, our daily lives, or our planet’s oceans?
What if there is a way to reverse the damage we’ve done to Earth so we, our species, don’t go extinct here anytime soon?
What if everyone read more, listened and observed more, and spoke more than two languages?
What if living wasn’t a made-up competition that earns only death for everyone in the end?
What if average people were able to travel and move freely around the world?
What if no one needed to dream up a fictional future or fantasy life because their daily life was fulfilling and stable enough to live how they want, free of controlling sociopaths and bullies?
What if you woke up tomorrow and didn’t have to worry about making money to live, to survive? What would you do first? What would you do second? And then what would you do every day after that?
What if ___fill in the blank___?
