WRITING PROMPTS to help you explore today’s topic:
Write a journal entry about the last time you felt proud of yourself.
Write about the pros and cons of pride. When is feeling prideful ‘good’? When is feeling prideful ‘bad’?
Write a fictional scene that portrays someone doing something they should be proud of themselves for doing. Or write a fictional scene that portrays someone doing something they should feel ashamed of themselves for doing.
Write a poem that captures the essence of pride.
