My response to today’s question:
Personally, I do think that people can change some of their beliefs and values over the course of their lifetimes. However, many people don't adopt new values or adjust their values and beliefs over the course of their lifetimes because changing one's values and beliefs is hard work and often requires a new living or work environment, new habits, new thought processes and ways of speaking, a new social network, and a complete lifestyle overhaul, etc., which isn’t very easy...
